The whole process felt less stressful than I had imagined it would be despite some challenges along the way and that was down to the way James and his team managed everything so well. Exceptional service. Paul took time to understand what I needed from the sale and provided advice and practical support at every stage of the process, from negotiating a price through to organising a clearance company to remove rubbish left by a tenant. Where to start? I have heard many stories of bad experiences with estate agents so was not expecting much. James has far exceeded those expectations and more. He was constantly there to help and guide with a calm demeanour and a smile on his face. The moment we met James whilst valuing our property, we knew we would list with him - his property knowledge and local area insight and experience proved we were in safe hands.

After that initial visit, the property was on sale with professional pictures and floor plan within 48 hours! We then found our dream house online and then the pressure was on to find a buyer for us a buyer in rapid time, to ensure we didn’t miss out! This is exactly what James did for us, in such incredible short timescales - bang on our asking price!

James genuinely cares about every house and family he is serving and made me feel at complete ease and the service was so personal it made us feel like we were his own clients (judging by the amount of James Gorey - Sold boards outside houses in our area - we knew this certainly wasn’t the case)! Every phone called answered, messages sent and emails replied to - unlike other agents, where you are just a number to them and a commission in their pocket.

Everything, from viewing to property to references and signing the final contract was easy and convenient. We were able to move in to our new rental two weeks earlier than initially planned thanks to Paul and his team.

James Gorey is the best estate agent we have ever dealt with and we have spoken to a lot whilst trying to find our new property! We bought a property from him so this review is about the service we received on the buying side. He was incredibly professional throughout the negotiation process. He gave us advice whilst not blurring the lines between the buyer and the seller and was very quick and efficient at replying to all of our queries. On our moving day he helped chase the solicitors for us so that we could get our keys and when we were ready, he met us at our new home and gave us a very warm welcome. If we ever had to move house again we would definitely use James Gorey on the selling side as our experience on the buying side couldn't have been better. Would highly recommend!

2020 was a really challenging year, but Paul Fryer made everything about this sale easy from start to finish. Paul is a great communicator and he regularly updated us with viewing dates & potential buyers’ feedback. With great marketing & real estate exposure, we received an acceptable offer very quickly.
