We viewed countless houses and new-build apartments in search of our first home in SE London and this was a house that ticked all the boxes for us.

We’ve invested greatly in this home with lots of improvements and upgrades over the years we’ve lived here. We installed a new kitchen, utility room and ground floor shower and toilet. Rosewood Windows and Composite Front Door, we also created a home gym in the garage and made the fourth bedroom into a study which now offers the perfect setting for working from home. Externally we replaced the driveway and re-seeded the back garden.

It was the location and the size of the house that first attracted us to the property. Perfectly situated next to Abbey Wood station, we can get into the City in 30 minutes with direct trains to London Bridge, Cannon Street, Charing Cross and Waterloo. Once Crossrail opens, we could reach Canary Wharf in 12 minutes and Farringdon in 20 minutes.

The house overlooks Lesnes Abbey Park which, with its lush greenery, is a tranquil oasis and a hidden gem. The house is unique in that it sits in a quiet neighbourhood with great access to open space and trails (and backing the woodlands).
